FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN COMMISSIONING AN ENTIRELY NEW DESIGN PLEASE READ ON TO LEARN ABOUT THE PROCESS.

Step 1. To begin, please share any specifications (dimensions, materials, colors, budget), inspiration or reference images that you might have by emailing maeve@macromacrame.com or reach out via the contact form.

Step 2. I will reply with questions to ensure that I have a thorough understanding of the piece you would like to commission. Next, I will create a DESIGN packet. The packet will be customized to meet your budget, material / size specifications, reference images and anything else you require. IT will contain original design renderings, reference images of knot patterns, as well as material samples and color options. The design packet lead time is 2-4 weeks.

Step 3. ​Reviewing the completed design packet options will be the next step. You may choose one of the designs or ask for revisions. I will be happy to make changes and updates to the proposal, UNTIL THE DESIGN IS APPROVED.

Step 4. Once you love the design, I can proceed with creating your one-of-a-kind piece. 

I enjoy collaborating with PRIVATE AND COMMERCIAL CLIENTS, interior decorators / designers, visual merchandising / display directors, set / prop designers, installation artists and creatives. I keep an inspiring assortment of rope and cordage in an array of sizes and fabrications. I love sharing bespoke knot patterns and fiber art techniques from my textile arts library with clients interested in personalized, site specific wall hangings, dividers and installations.
